| Schülke & Mayr GmbH offers a free webinar entitled “Preservation of Skin Care Products” on Friday, 7 May 2010 at 10:00 (German) or on Friday, 7 May 2010 at 13:30 (English). The selection criteria of preservation actives are determined by numerous factors. This webinar focuses on the following topics:
- Effectiveness spectra of different preservation actives
- Compatibility with other ingredients as well as temperature and pH stability
- Practical advice on the best use of preservatives
- Explanation of specific test systems for microbiological testing of cosmetic products
- Basic information on the production of self-preserving systems
The training course is intended primarily for laboratory personnel (with 1 to 3 years work experience) from the "development and manufacture of cosmetic skin care products" as well as women and men with similar tasks, out of adjacent areas.
Author and lecturer is Wolfgang Siegert who has more than 35 years experience with biocides, he is co-author of Römpp online and Paulus, Directory of Microbicides for the Protection of Materials.
